The Open Borders Institute is a volunteer, non-profit organization established to help low-income immigrants. We are NOT IMMIGRATION.

I am NOT a lawyer; I am a law student participating in this program which can arrange for you to meet with a lawyer if you are interested. I cannot represent you in Court, but I can fill out forms and will go into the Courtroom with you and answer any questions the Judge asks me.

We will go through a series of questions to help me understand your case and prepare your information for a volunteer attorney. Everything you tell me will be kept confidential, and will be released only to your volunteer attorney with your permission

 YES - ICE agents entered Cafe Aurora and took away three workers including me, to jail.  They asked for my papers, and told them I had none.

Have you ever been deported / granted voluntary departure? If so, when? NO - but last time when i walked across the border, the border patrol agents stopped me in the morning, then released me across the border in the evening.  I walked back across into the USA the next morning.
